"The Canadian Fastener Coalition represents the interests of Canadian businesses that rely on steel fasteners. Our mission is to engage government, industry stakeholders, and policymakers to reform the 25% steel derivative surcharge through a targeted, evidence-based approach - one that protects Canadian manufacturing where domestic production exists, while removing unintended cost burdens on products with no domestic supply alternative. Our goal is a fair and balanced policy framework that allows Canadian businesses and the sectors that depend on them to remain globally competitive."
